I am in the process of customising this layout so it looks a bit nicer, and in particular working on a new header, so hopefully soon it should look a lot prettier. I adore looking at pretty pictures, sites online and other things, so why not have a blog to record some of my favourites, the things that inspire me, fashion & clothing I adore, accessories, homewares, pictures and gift ideas that I find beautiful.

I like to think that there is beauty everywhere, and finding this in our everyday lives can put a little sparkle back into our worlds - where 9 to 5 seems to rule us all, chores and responsibilities and studies take over who we are. But if there is beauty everywhere, and we can appreciate that in whatever form it takes, then we know that there is more to life than those daily tasks.

So Lace & Stars: a journal of pretty things is about appreciating the pretty and decadent things in life, and sharing them with other people. I hope you enjoy :) xx
